All you do is make up the brownie batter as directed, pour 1/2 the batter into your pan, crumble up lightly cooked bacon and sprinkle over the batter, then pour the remaining batter on top of the bacon layer. Bake as directed…
Try really hard to be patient…
Start jumping up and down in anticipation when they come out of the oven… (by the way, I’ve had my perfect brownie pan since December and really like it!)
Let em cool, just a little, then remove from pan and serve to sounds of appreciation muffled by chewing and mmmmmming!

My two favorite things! Bacon & Brownies. Yum Yum!

I've been wanting to try something with chocolate and bacon. My husband will love it! Anything with bacon!
ReplyDeleteSounds interesting - but what made them so delicious? Was it the combination of sweet and salty? The crunch in the middle? I'm intrigued.....
ReplyDeleteGoing to try this...not sure about it, but that's how favorite things come about! Love the cool pan for sure! Thanks...
ReplyDeleteInteresting...I can see how this would be very tasty. Nothing like sweet + salty! Another one I like is junior mints in hot movie theater popcorn! You wouldn't think that would be good either!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the inspiration!
